Hampton Inn Peoria-East At The River Boat Crossing

Overall it’s a good place to stay Continental breakfast is nice, clean area. Same type of eggs as all Hampton Inn’s. Service was a little rough with a single person but overall the other staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Hotel was clean, and the updates were nicely done. Even though some spots parts of the room are dated. Fitness room was good and a very nice indoor pool. Overall it’s a nice hotel for the price with plenty of parking. Not a bad stay

I was able to check in with the Hilton app. Everything was set up to go from my car to my room with no problems. They're very organized, clean, and very friendly. Breakfast was bountiful and fresh. The desk and breakfast team were genuine and helpful. Most impressed every part of the app worked here and several other places there have been problems.

Was ok building getting worn down, but room was clean and people were great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty, but on the small side. We had a 2-bed room, but there were only 2 bath towels. I'd expect 4. Surprisingly, there wasn't a microwave or fridge in the room. There was bar soap for handwashing in the bathroom. There were stationary bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The shower head was a little whack, as 1 of the settings sprayed water all over. Once I changed the setting, it was fine. The toilet seat was really low - helpful for little ones, but not helpful for old/injured knees. Air conditioning worked really well. Window shade really blocked out the light. There wasn't a recycling bin in the room. The pool was small. The free breakfast was pretty good (scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, potatoes, make-your-own waffles, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc.). Kiddos liked being so close to the river, and seeing ships, etc.

Overall, this hotel is a nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. One of the biggest disappointments was the housekeeping service. Even though the room was clean, you have to ask for service during a multi-day stay. Even after asking, they still didn't make the bed. Additionally, you have to ask a full day in advance to get them to partially clean/stock your room. This is a bit inconvenient, especially if you're staying for a longer period of time. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to others. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient. However, be aware of the housekeeping and breakfast policies before you book your stay. No issues here! Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Stayed during a bad ice storm and they did a great job of keeping salt on the lot and sidewalks. The rooms are older-styled, but still in great shape. I prefer the old style, so it’s no bother to me- it was very clean!

I have always had good luck with my stays. This is an older hotel but relatively well maintained and the staff are super friendly. Even when it's crowded it doesn't feel overloaded. Plus breakfast is great.
